Build Wavetown

Learners use their imagination to sketch a future radio communication system that can help their community, They then build their ideas to life by buildiing a model in a smart city called “Wavetown” using available materials. This hands-on introduction to speculative design promotes creativity, problem-solving, and innovation, allowing learners to explore potential future scenarios and possibilities for radio technologies in Wavetown. Wavetown can be made with scrap cardboard or precut cardboard parts from KitCoDesign. Additional technologies like BBC micro:bits or Teknikio Bluebirds can be coded and addded to Wavetown.
